Easy Assembly Process for Treated Pine Prefab Stair Unit

Insert bolts into holes provided in stringers & seat into position with hammer. Thread of bolts should be facing the inside/bracket side of the stringer (as clearly marked on the stringers).

Fit galvanised angle bracket over bolts

Don' t over tighten nuts at this stage
Insert Bolts into predrilled holes in the treads
Place treads into position on the stringer
Thread of bolt should be to the underside of the tread marked with an x
Place all treads in position
Place the other stringer on top of the treads and loosely attach nuts
Use a spanner or drill with socket tighten tread nuts followed by those on the stringers. The stair unit will pull up tight and straight.
Stringer Nuts can now be tightened
All done, ready for installation!
